Just when things had gotten a bit better,...I can't believe this. We are current on our rent, lived here 3 yrs., and just NOW we find out our house is a land trust and our landlord just sold it back to the original owner. The original owner shows up with a notice to vacate, and we have 30 days. That was 10 days ago, and I am beside myself! The real estate buying market may be booming, but the rental scene is impossible with no more notice than we were given--EVERYONE wants first and last plus a deposit!!Add utilities and not to mention, our vacate date is on my son's 10th birthday!!

You guys,...I am freaking! I know God has something else planned for us, but it's not the streets??!! We don't even have a car!! How can someone just give you 30 days to just uproot your whole life, change schools, (and all the while breathe down your neck for the rent money of the last and final month) "so, I'm supposed to pay you, AND find a pay for a new home,plus utilities, and the cost of the move itself??" So far, it's going to cost me about $900 that I don't have. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate them. Any donations would be blessed. We don't deserve this....Please help!!

Please anyone!  My good friend is a single mother of 4, who works 2 jobs, and truly has her hands full! She was $120  short on her rent last month, and now she's been evicted, locked out, and charged an extra $500  just to get back into her apt., and next months rent is already due! She's got like 1/2 of what she needs, but in the mean time her kids are struggling for temp. housing, and really could use a leg up! She doesn't do drugs, and she's not a felon, she's just a great mom trying to get by.....please- any amount will  help!! (I'd help if I could, but I'm struggling myself!)
